We love our hometown, this is where we live, eat, love and find inspiration. There are countless things to do in Stockholm, this time around we would like to share our favourite Japanese places!

Kasai is the first japanese dinner club in Stockholm. They offer you the combination of enjoying delightful food and drinks while you get entertained by dancers and artists. With a sprawling atmosphere, good music and a modern and japanese fusion food you will not get disappointed. If you are lucky, you will receive a japanese headband during your dinner to make your experience even more japanese!
The menu is produced by the international known chef Danny Elmaleh and contains sushi, sashimi and other japanese courses. The theme is japanese fusion. Make sure to try their spicy tuna and their crispy duck!

On the popular street Birger Jarlsgatan in a basement you will find Tako, a restaurant with influences of Japan and Korea. The owners of Tako calls the place “Alice in Wonderland” because it is a place that gives the guests an impression of human minds.
On the menu you will find sushi, asian barbeque and fusion cocktails. During thursday and saturday they offers late night dining, which means that the kitchen is open until 01.00. Make sure to taste the Korean glazed ribs or their steamed buns!
Blue Light YokohamaÅsögatan 170

In Sofo, the trendy part of Södermalm, you will find this Izakaya restaurant that will serve you japanese food in a modern way for a good price. Here you can get mozzarella on the side to your fish, which sounds crazy but it is for sure worth a visit, because this place is one of kind.
The menu contains both cold and warm dishes and sushi and if you want something extra you can choose the option “Red Light Yokohama” which is their special menu that their chef cooks for one company of 2-4 persons per night. The special menu will be served in a small red separate room. Every sunday they also have “Ramen Sunday” which means that they will serve genuine dishes with noodles.

Sushi ShoUpplandsgatan 45
Tuesday - Friday: 17.00-00.00
At this little restaurant in Vasastan they serve sushi in a traditional tokyo way. With local food ingredients and a environmental sustainability thinking they offer you a menu with one option, the chef will serve you fifteen different sushi and the sitting is one hour.
The restaurant got a Michelin star 2016 so make sure you book a table a couple of weeks before your visit.
